Shri Bhagwan Das Agarwal migrated from Bhiwani, Haryana to Assam in the early 1950s and founded Aluminum Industries Pvt. Ltd. — one of India's early tea machinery manufacturing companies — serving estates across Assam, West Bengal, South India and international markets.
Late Shri Ashok Kumar Agarwal pioneered the Bought Leaf Factory (BLF) model in Tinsukia in the mid-1990s, empowering local Small Tea Growers. VTC was established in 1997 and today stands as a respected name in the Assam tea industry.
Led by Mr. Abhishek Agarwal and Mr. Abhinav Agarwal, VTC combines deep technical expertise in tea machinery with steadfast commitment to the farmers who supply our leaf — and to the brands and buyers who trust our cup.

Two leaves and a bud are harvested at peak freshness from our Small Tea Grower partners across Tinsukia — hand-selected for tenderness and uniform bloom.
Step 02
Green leaf is rested on wide troughs with calibrated airflow, gently reducing moisture and developing the chemistry that defines Assam character.
Step 03
Heritage in tea machinery since the 1950s informs every roll. Leaf is cut into tight pellets for the strong, fast-brewing liquor Assam is known for.
Step 04
A precisely controlled oxidation phase transforms catechins into the briskness and bright copper colour that defines a great Assam CTC.
Step 05
Hot-air fluid-bed dryers fix the brew profile — locking in aroma and reducing moisture to a stable 2–3% for transit-ready quality.
Step 06
Sorted by particle size into BOP, BP, OF, PF, PD and Dust grades, then sealed in food-grade lined sacks — ready for domestic blenders and export.
